|
When
it comes to a quality product and superior customer service, McDermott
sets the standard with the McDermott New Cue Lifetime Warranty, the
premier warranty in the industry. The McDermott Lifetime Warranty
provides unparalleled coverage, and demonstrates not only our
confidence in McDermott cues, but also our ongoing commitment to every
McDermott customer.
You can be certain, as we are, that you will enjoy owning a McDermott as much as we enjoy hand crafting them.
McDermott
Handcrafted Cues warrants its pool cues purchased from an authorized
McDermott Cue retailer or distributor (PoolCuesToYou.com is an Authorized McDermott Distributor) to be free of defects in material
and workmanship, including warpage, for the lifetime of the product.
McDermott will, without charge to the consumer, repair or replace your
cue, provided that the claim is accompanied by a copy of the original
sales receipt from an authorized McDermott dealer. McDermott does not
warrant its product against damage caused by third parties. This
warranty does not cover replaceable items such as tip, finish, and
wrap. McDermott will fix such items, however, for a fee. In addition,
McDermott, at its sole discretion, may void this warranty if there is
evidence of abuse or mishandling. To obtain warranty service on a
McDermott product, return the product to an authorized McDermott dealer
or directly to McDermott. To determine the nearest McDermott authorized
retailer or dealer, contact McDermott directly. Call toll free 1-800-666-2283.
DISCLAIMER:
This warranty is in lieu of all other express warranties. McDermott
disclaims all warranties for products that are purchased from sellers
other than authorized retailers or distributors.
To
take advantage of our Lifetime Warranty, please enclose a check or
money order for $21.95 to cover inspection, shipping and handling.

OB 1 Warranty
OB Cues Product Warranty
OB Cues warrants, to the
original
purchaser, all OB Cues products to be free from defects in material and
workmanship for the life of the product when purchased from an
authorized OB
Cues Dealer (PoolCuesToYou.com is an Authorized OB Cues Dr). Authorized OB Cues dealers are Direct Retail Dealers as
well as
Network Retail Dealers. Direct Retail Dealers are listed here on our
website.
Product
Registration is required and
should be completed at or near the time of purchase.
In the event an OB Cues product
needs repair or replacement, it must be returned with proper documentation to
OB Cues for determination of warranty coverage. All warrantable issues
will be
repaired if possible. In those circumstances where the warrantable
issue is not
repairable, the product will be replaced. If the condition is not a
warrantable
issue, OB Cues will contact the owner with an estimate for repairs, or
replacement. In the event OB Cues receives a package with no
discernable
contact, the package will be held until claimed. At that time, the item
can be
considered for determination of warranty coverage.
Things not covered by the OB Cues
Warranty include, but are not limited to:
-
- Damage due to abuse or neglect.
- Damage caused by playing with an OB-1 Cue
Shaft without the carbon fiber pad that is placed between the tip and
the ferrule.
- Custom joint work provided outside OB Cues to
fit a Partial OB-1 cue shaft to a cue. When a Partial OB-1 cue shaft is
the original purchase, then OB Cues will replace a defective cue shaft
with another Partial OB-1 cue shaft.
This is the sole warranty of
OB Cues and no other warranties are either expressed or implied, in
fact or by
law.
OB Cues liability is limited to the
replacement of the OB Cues product.
OB Cues shall not be
liable for any
consequential, special, incidental or punitive damages resulting from
or caused
by any failed OB Cues product.
Packaging suggestions:
If you need to return your cue or cue shaft to us
for repairs or
for a warranty issue, please consider the following recomendations for
packaging.
1. Wrap your cue or cue shaft in either foam wrap or
bubble wrap
to protect it from bumps, dents, and scratches. Don't build up the
wrapping so much that the cue or shaft is tight inside the box.
2. Please don't use the loose "popcorn" style
packaging. It does not protect the cue or shaft, and it is MESSY!
3. Don't pack the cue or shaft "Tight" inside the box.
Long narrow
boxes or tubes are very often caught in the shipping machinery at the
depot's and the boxes are slightly "Bent". If you cue shaft is tight,
then it will be "Bent" too. If the cue shaft is properly padded, and
still has room to move inside the box, then the box can bend a little
and not bend the cue shaft or cue inside.
4. The best package is the triangular "Tube" offered
by all the
carriers. UPS and FedeX say that they are for Air shipment only, but we
use them every day for ground shipments. The Post Office also offers
these tubes.
5. ALWAYS include this form inside the package with
your cue or
cue shaft, even if you have talked to us and we are expecting your
shipment. Failure to provide this information may result in your cue or
cue shaft not being processed because we won't know who it belongs to.
6. UPS and FedeX include $100 insurance. You must
purchase more if you want to be fully covered! It is cheap too.

+1.904.448.8748). Please note that this warranty does not cover
problems resulting from warping or abuse.
- Terms
And Conditions. Predator Products warrants solely to the original
purchaser of this Predator product that the product purchased shall be
free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for as
long as the product is owned by the original purchaser, and until the
ownership of the product is transferred to another. This Limited
Warranty does not apply to asserted defects resulting from:
(a) normal wear and tear;
(b) modification, misuse, abuse or improper maintenance or
(c) accidents or exposure to extreme temperature or humidity that causes permanent damage.
This Limited Warranty applies only to those products purchased from authorized dealers of Predator Products.
Predator shafts designed for Uni-Loc® and Radial® joints are only warranted when coupled with an Original Uni-Loc quick-release or Radial® joint.
- Limitation
On Obligations. The obligations of Predator Products hereunder are
limited to repair or replacement of any product found to be defective
under this Limited Lifetime Warranty. In no event shall Predator
Products be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential
damages, of any nature, or kind or for damages to or loss of property.
THIS LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY IS THE SOLE WARRANTY OF PREDATOR CUES
AND SHAFTS AND IS GIVEN IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND
FITNESS FOR PURPOSE.
- Sole Warranty. This Limited
Lifetime Warranty, as set forth herein, constitutes the entire warranty
and representation of Predator Products with regard to its cues and
shafts. This Limited Lifetime Warranty shall be controlling over any
conflicting terms and conditions of any purchase orders, contracts or
invoices that may be executed in connection with the purchase of the
product. NO representation or warranty made by Predator Products
employee, dealer or agent shall be binding upon Predator Products’
other than as set forth herein.
- Claim Procedures.
Claims for warranty performance and service shall be made by sending
the product, shipping and insurance prepaid by the purchaser, to
Predator Products, 11764 Marco Beach Dr. Jacksonville, Florida
32224-7684, together with
(a) evidence of original purchase;
(b) a description of the asserted defect; and
(c) the name; address and phone number of the original purchaser to whom the product is to be returned.
For international customers, we strongly encourage buying your Predator
products from a local Predator dealer for better and faster service.
The International Warranty will be honored through your local
Authorized Predator Distributor. If you purchase a Predator product
from a country other than the country you live in, the product must be
returned to the dealer from which it was originally purchased in order
for the warranty to be valid. For example, if the product is purchased
in France, the product must be returned to the French dealer from which
it was purchased. Predator Products will review the description of the
asserted defect, examine the product and make service, repairs and
replacements as appropriate under this Limited Lifetime Warranty. Upon
completion of the service, Predator Products shall return the product
to the original purchaser; shipping and insurance will be paid by
Predator Products. If it is determined that the asserted defect is not
covered under the Limited Lifetime Warranty, the original purchaser
will be contacted and offered a repair service if applicable, or the
product will be returned.
- Legal
Remedies. Depending upon the state in which you reside, you may have
additional remedies available under the applicable Commercial Code or
Consumer Warranty laws.
Care Instructions
WARPAGE
– FINISH. Wood will soak up moisture in wet climates and release
moisture in dry climates. To prevent warpage or finish problems, store
your cue in an environment that has a stable and consistent temperature
with a humidity level of 40 to 45 percent.
ABUSE. Cues
made of wood are not designed to withstand lateral pressure. Situations
where a cue is leaned or propped up against a wall, dropped on the
floor, bent excessively while playing, or hit on a table can damage the
cue. We recommend protecting your cue with a hard case.
TIP DIAMETER: We do not recommend turning your shaft down. You can choose to turn your shaft, but any 3142 shaft turned below 12.25 mm, any Z2 shaft turned below 11.40 mm, and any Fat shaft turned below 12.70 mm will result in an automatic void of your warranty.
PHENOLIC
TIP REPLACEMENT. If you want to replace your phenolic tip on your BK2
break cue or your Air jump cue, do not remove the black carbon fiber
tip plate located under the brown phenolic tip; this will jeopardize
the strength of your shaft and the warranty will be voided. Leave .020”
of the brown phenolic before gluing on the replacement tip.
SHAFT
MAINTENANCE. To clean your Predator shaft, use a towel slightly
dampened with rubbing alcohol. After cleaning, use a leather burnisher
or similar material to seal the shaft. Using a Carnuba wax may also
help to seal the shaft and protect it from moisture damage. To avoid
damage, do not sand the shaft; no abrasive is necessary. Do not expose
the shaft to excessive moisture and do not steam it to remove dings. Do
not use a water-based cleaner.
THE ORIGINAL UNI-LOC® JOINT. We recommend cleaning the Original Uni-Loc®
quick-release joint when you first receive your cue and every six
months thereafter. These joints are precision manufactured to exact
tolerances and even a modest amount of dirt can create a problem. You
can use a Q-Tip dipped in Isopropyl alcohol to clean the inside threads
and bore of the shaft insert. Clean the joint pin and threads with
alcohol and a clean rag. We recommend the use of joint protectors to
help keep your joint clean and to protect it from damage.
FERRULE. Much of the shaft’s performance can be attributed to our ferrule design and composition. Due to the
performance enhancing material used for the ferrule, scratches may
appear with use. In this case, we recommend sending your shaft to us or
to an authorized Predator repair center for a clean up. Do not remove
or change the ferrule or the warranty will be voided.
TIP. The Everest®
tip comes on all Predator shafts. If tip replacement is needed, we
recommend a medium-hard tip. For best results, we recommend that you
send it to us or have an authorized Predator repair center do it on a
lathe.
WRAP CLEANING. For leather and Leather Luxe™
wraps, use water to barely dampen a towel, wipe the wrap, and dry it
immediately. Use Isopropyl alcohol for Irish Linen wraps.
PARTIAL SHAFTS: If the official Predator logo is not on your partial shaft, the Limited Lifetime Warranty is void.
PREDATOR
CUSTOMER SERVICE. If you have any questions or need any maintenance
work done on your Predator product, use our Contact Us form or call
customer service at 1.888.314.4111 (international, +1.904.448.8748), or
e-mail us at customerservice@predatorcues.com.
